I could get all sentimental with this update but I thought about it and that’s just not my style.  I just want to say that…..oh shit not again….

Seriously though guys, there’s a reason we finished out the current expansion while it was actually current content.   And it’s not because expansions only come out once a year now, or that SoD was easier than other expansions.   Frankly, you guys just kick ass.  Well that and because of the following motto:

Without further ado here’s some screenshots of the remaining pwnage in Tower.

 Tower 6 is probably my favorite event now in the zone, passing up Tower 2.   There’s something nice and nostalgicy (yes i know that’s not a word) about fighting old mobs.

 And then there was 1.  I think I will have to agree that this end boss was very anti climactic compared to previous expansions.   We might as well have been fighting this guy.

 So here we are staring the beast down.   He looks pretty bad ass but his bark is worse than his bite.

Time to enjoy some farming before the next expansion release.  Perhaps we’ll be able to be competitive with the big boys this time around, or maybe not.  Whatever happens, we have two words for you.

FU has been busy the past 2 weeks and it shows. We’ve taken down the first 5 events in Tower with just the final 2 remaining to finish off this expansion.

I think anyone will agree that the trash in zone makes you want to poke your eyes out.   As for the scripts themselves, I actually think they were done well, it’s just that the difficulty is missing.   There’s a lot going on but that doesn’t always equate to being hard.  I can understand now why so many other guilds complain about how easy Tower is.   I haven’t had this much fun in awhile but we’ll see how long that lasts =).

 I didn’t have time to take any screenshots from Event 4 - Scrying.   It wasn’t the prettiest first win so you’ll have to make due with these pictures.

Finally, we have Event 5 - Sacrifice.

Well hopefully we close out the expansion in a few weeks.   Scratch that we WILL fucking close out the expansion.  And we’re going to do it for balloon boy, hopefully he returns safely /salute.

The keying process is done and FU started on Tower this week.

After some trial and error we made quick work of Mindblight.

We finished off the entire FoS theme last night after winning FoS 1 two weeks ago by beating the last 2 raids in the FoS arc.   It’s funny how the raids after Kaesora’s Council were gimptastic.  I can see why some guilds try to bypass FoS 1 by having someone get the FoS 2 / 3 raids for them because FoS 1 was too hard, but that’s just not FU’s style.   Here’s the pwnage:

The FoS 3 raid was next, that script has to be one of my favorites in the expansion thus far.

Well kids, great job.   Tier 1 and 2 raids are all done, 42 keys for Tower acquired.  We’ll take our first look at Tower in 2 weeks while working on finishing Tier 3 raids.   Zek bros you’re next!

Not beating a new target last week was a fluke *cough Wahledor* so we thought we’d make up for it this week by killing TWO new mobs. We took out Kerafyrm earlier in the week and last night downed the crapshoot known as Kaesora’s Council

After determining the 4 evil council members we promptly dispatched them.    Sorry no l33t screenshots of the fight, there was too much lameness going on.

That was an epic fight guys.   Glad to finish off this expansion and focus fully on SoD now.    Halfway to keying for Tower booyah.

The streak continues. We came back and tried Mindshear again tonight.  We learned from our first encounter 2 weeks ago and came back following Rule #1:

Took a sneak peek at Tower of Discord.   While we’re keying the rest of the guild up we’ll be mopping up Kerafyrm and the rest of the SoD themes before we put the FU pwnage on Tower.   Kick ass job guys.

Well FU is keeping it’s streak going of a new mob dead each week with Broodmother dead in Crystallos.

We didn’t have time to do a real run at Kerafyrm but that didn’t stop me from letting us have a Leeroy Jenkins attempt at him.   Just dicking around we took him to ~60% which doesn’t mean much but was still fun.

Hoping this p.o.s. dies soon so we can close the book on SoF.

Let me just say the General Bahgresh script is total bullshit. Tier 1 raid my ass. Despite being short-handed tonight we still took this fucker down. Grats FU on finishing off this entire Tier.

FU does it again, the 2 headed beast is dead. I wasn’t able to get any cool screenshots because there was so much shit going on so I had to work my l33t photoshop magic. I think I came pretty close to what he actually looks like in game.

Hopefully Mindshear dies next so we can start realistically keying for Tower while we finish up Crystallos and other SoD themes.
